Way, way overdue update.
Got the car back on the road late last summer. And now I get to chase down something that's tearing itself apart in the front drivetrain.....
Never ends. :D
Horray for more Euro Fords! :D
Got it running for the first time in 18 months. :D
Hello peoples! :P
I've got a USPS/VW carbon road bike. Used to ride a lot...but lately it's just been gathering dust. I really need to at least get it set up on the trainer again.
You'll probably be up and running before I will be! :D
Chatted w/ the guy rebuilding the turbo for me...he's hoping to get back to it soon. Every time he thinks he's done with the current...
Howdy yall! :P
Minion! :D
Congrats.
Yep, still waiting. He's been busy as shit...and on top of that he had his wedding to deal with. :D
Touche. What I meant was running & driving first. ;)
I'm curious to see who gets their car done first.....
That's like the parts I ordered from England beating parts I ordered from the east coast by 2 days.
Went in with a friend on an '86 Scirocco to clean up (also strip the Autotech strut bar for my Phoenix swallowtail) and resell.
My commute may be 23 miles each way...but it only takes about 25 minutes or so. I drive further, but spend less actual time in the car than some of you guys down south. I tip my hat to you poor...
For ****s sake. You have every reason to be livid. Makes my issues seem minor, as I was only out time. They ate the additional machine/setup time.
Hell yeah! Box fender flare AWD mafia. :D
That's how it starts. I've been in my house for almost 4 years now and never had a Housewarming Party. At this point, it's never happening. :D
I love 4x10s. Makes the 46 mile round-trip commute tolerable.
You can also work with it all day w/o any side effects, as it doesn't give off noxious fumes. I usually use Oil Eater for the main cleaning...then finish off w/ brake cleaner if it's a friction...
