Good Transmission Shops: '05 B5.5 TDI, auto trans

Super pissed right now: my wife comes home complaining and saying the Passat is in limp mode. I VAGCOM it, two codes pop up- P0734 - 003 Incorrect Ratio and P0811 - 003 Excessive Clutch Slippage. I cleared the codes and then attempted a test drive. Key word- attempted. I was able to select reverse and use reverse. Drive, 4, 3, 2, and tiptronic refuse to engage (just rev up as though in neutral).
From what I read on a TDI forum, the tranny is either toast or several of the sensors have failed. Anyone else had this issue with a B5.5 TDI with auto trans?

Any good reputable transmission shops in the Lacey/Olympia or Tacoma area?

Selling the car isn't really an option, as we still owe on it

If need be, the car sits till we have the funds for a new transmission. Today is just FML

Did you check the fluid level?

Probably a stupid question, but I've forgotten to check the basic stuff while mad at cars.
