    H&R Springs Mt Baker Drive

So I am posting this to judge interested in me putting a drive to and from the H&R Mt.Baker drive together. It is Saturday the 16th, yes I know it just over a week away, but they finally just today posted times. Info on their site here http://www.hrsprings.com/wanderlust/events/

My thoughts for the meet up in the morning is to meet at the rest stop a milepost 207 just north of the Smokey Point(172nd NE) exit(206). That way people can have easy access to gas and food before reaching the rest stop. Meet up would start at 7:40AM and we would leave for H&R at 8:00 AM route to H&R
    https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Smok...48.7834987!3e0

From there we would just go along with the drive. I was thinking we could do a cruise back together after hanging out for a bit at the end of the official drive. My idea is to take Highway 9 south on the way back till we get to Arlington, then jump on 530 west to I-5 North. Then we could hop of the freeway at Smokey Point and get some food at the Red Robin. This would be the route:

Any input is welcomed, please let me know if you are interested.

This is always a big drive with some cool cars, nice variety, etc. The road is great too.

    I can't go this year

I'll be at the Props & Ponies show w/ the Cobra at the Heritage Flight Museum (Skagit Regional Airport) all day. I don't think they let us out of there until around 4pm or so.

The one time all you hooligans are actually up in my neck of the woods..... Go figure. Have fun, and a safe drive.

Can't make it. Apparently I've neglected the "honey-do list"

Unfortunately, I can't avoid the huge blackberry bush in my backyard any longer...

Had a blast! Drove almost exactly 300 miles today and almost got 30mpg, even though I was driving hard. Saw Jeremy almost hit a hawk(?) on highway 9 in Arlington, that was the weirdest thing I have seen in awhile.

If we weren't behind those slow other cars we would have all made it across.
