Does it work? I'm skeptical... but willing to try it, as well.

damn, what a weekend, too busy, would have been nice to have some time to get some of *my* things done :\

that's how I've felt for months

this weekend I actually got to change the oil on my wife's car and then clean the wheels on the new car. The stock bmw brake pads dust way too much for my liking. The Stoptech Street Performance pads, while not as good on heavier cars, still bite better, fade less, and dust less. I might have to switch to those.

my favorite wheel cleaner lately has just been Super Purple, took some staining off of the Volvo wheels, and helped greatly with the CV grease in the barrel

Been looking at a bunch of different cars to replace the Iroc that I just sold. Probably not going to buy anything until the garage is finished getting reno'd. New drywall, pot lights, garage door and epoxy flooring.

    Looking for:

    Mk1 rabbit GTI.
    MK1 OR MK2 golf /jetta with 1.8t ov vr6 swap
    914

    CTSV Cadillac
    Z06 c5 corvette

The last 2 are depending on the budget getting a bit of a bump.

Scheduled my TDI buyback for 2.5 weeks from now. Did one last road trip to Eastern OR to watch the eclipse, but not it's time for it to go.

Got a job offer yesterday, and jumped on it! Solid increase in pay, benefits, and getting work on vehicles all day. My current job has been a life saver after being unemployed for a month, but I didn't see myself delivering packages for FedEx as a career.

trying to get a new job. It's interesting, sort of, that I can have a bunch of recruiters reach out to me when I'm not interesting in changing work, but as soon as I'm actively looking the pool gets smaller.

That exact situation has happened to me a few times....kind of an anxious feeling until the right opportunity pops up.
