Ugh. I was just checking the weather records... it hasn't rained here (other than than trace hundredths-of-an-inch) for four months as of today. I swear, when it does rain next I am going to go outside and run around in it like a crazy person.

Do you ever NOT have rain in the forecast?

    (but I am still jealous!)

    I don't like Apple much

I use Linux on my work machines. There's always been a couple of things that keep me in Windows for the main desktop at home though. But I'm playing games so little now that I have almost nothing else holding me back... it becomes less troublesome to boot into Windows for a game once a month.

Apparently this is somewhat common with current Linux installers (Ubuntu came up a lot)... not sure why
I realized what happened. The machine originally had Windows XP, and I installed Windows 7 on a separate partition. Windows 7 continued to use the old Windows XP boot manager, so the Windows 7 partition never had the bootmgr and boot files needed to boot Windows 7 on its own. So.. when I wiped out the old Windows XP partition to install Linux there was no way to get back into Windows 7. Windows 7 has tools to put those files in place though.. so all is well. It just took a while for me to get to that point

I personally wanted girls both times, their wanted girl the first time and didn't have a preference the second time. Though I am fairly certain she wanted a boy.
