UPS has gotten better recently... their tracking used to seriously annoy me.. like fedex's is with you

Yeah any time I order stuff from newegg I have no problems with FedEx.
But for some reason this ground crap really pisses me off because the online tracking blows ass!

UPS tracking is awesome and is always updated so you know where your stuff is.

With FedEx it says today that it arrived on Nov 19, 2010 3:45 PM Arrived at FedEx location TROUTDALE, OR.
Well its almost 12 hours later and according to their website its still there and they estimate it'll arrive at my house on 11/20?
I'm going to kick the driver in the shin when he gets here tomorrow.......hahahaha

  6. #206
well.. you know that home delivery & ground aren't Fedex, right? It's all a contracting company. I avoid using Fedex Ground, if possible.

close, FedEx Corporate owns FedEx Ground, and FedEx Ground owns FedEx Home Delivery, both companies hire (for the most part) private contractors to do the actual P&D. I will use FedEx Ground for work, they are reliable, they have to be, the fines that are imposed on the drivers for incorrect/mis-delivered/late delivered packages are nasty. FedEx Home Delivery however, is unreliable, inconsistent, and unprofessional. If a Ground driver did half of the shit that they get away with they would lose their job and the contractor the contract.

I'm still trying to figure out why it would take an hour and a half to go maybe 10 blocks, even in downtown Seattle. Then another 3 hours to go I-5 to 520 to 405 and then a little ways on surface streets. If only people would quit getting stuck in an inch of snow I could have shaved a good 2 hours off of my 4.5 hour commute home.

Why is it when you fix one thing, more problems needing fixing always pop up?

I'd say kill all the stupid people, but that would leave about 300 people.

I hate the lifted trucks that have them even more. Or the people that put a 10 inch lift on their truck and don't adjust their headlights.

I had a friend that put a bunch of old random fog lights on his bumper just for that reason.

Today, this jerk decides to come down my gravel driveway and turn around. Then, proceeds to gun it, and spin out and spray my car with said gravel. Better yet, he decides to do this while I'm standing twenty feet away. I know I drive a MK3 and it already has dents and dings, but come on. Worse part is when I called the cops and told them, I couldn't see the license plate so the only description i could give was a late nineties blue honda civic, not the most conspicuous car in the world. I hate people.
