    ya want to advance it just a smidge more. the throttle stop mod helped out quite a bit. throttle cables are obsolete at vw.

    interesting they were gonna make me go weigh the truck but the WA title has a weight on it of like 3,600 lbs. That HAS to be GVWR not net.

    i have got to find this rattle in the dash it's making me crazy!!!
    i think that someone dropped pocket change down into the defrost and now its rattling around in the heater box. its the only thing i can think of.

    If you have the 17mm lug bolts you can get the covers from the dealer or ECS.

    It is funny to me that they have the lug bolt covers because back in the day I paid some big bucks to have mirror polished lug nuts for my El Camino.......hehe

    Why do you want HDs? They are the same length as stock vs. the shorter Sports. And I thought that truck has the oldskool plates already?

    no. the truck had a beam flip done to it. too much drop for me. the plates can be set at 2"
    I don't need something very short in the front i expect to drop it only 1.5" in the front
    I might consider sports.
