I truly envy the 2 car garage actually usable as a 2 car garage.

Once that truck is re-painted, it would look pretty good to have the wheels copper plated!

Haha, thanks. In college one of my comp teachers gave us the entire workload for the quarter on the first day. Me, my brother, and our friend were 5-6 weeks ahead of the rest of the class, so we spent hours on Dieselstation.com lowering basically everything they had.

I'll have to find those pictures if I still have them.

pulled the LR taillight off today to discover that it appears the wiring had been hacked into for a trailer plug at some point. cleaned things up and got the left blinkers to not blink 191,870,987,234 million miles per hour. the rest of the issue appears to be coming from the column switch.

also, removed the air horns [sorry ty] and cleaned up the harness in that area in preparation to purchase and have a replacement battery tray welded in.

spent a few hours on the truck this weekend

installed a used neuspeed lower tie bar [thanks landon!]

straightened the pinch welds that were all smashed up from irresponsible use of a floor jack... and coated the rockers with POR15 to stop any existing rust and prevent new.

i've gotta get my hands on a stud welder to pull this ding out of the passenger rocker panel

cleaned the remainder of the silver stuff around the perimeter of the grille. better all black than faded crap

fixed the tailgate so now it opens and shuts easily

    here's how she sits now

yes, lowering is going to happen, eventually. got lots of stuff to sort out still.

If you lowered it enough, you'd never see that dent.

pulled all the parts out of the gate, straightened them up. Put the gate across some 2x4's, bounced on it to lessen the bow. Then re-assembled all.

ok I did something different... found that the sheetmetal uprights where the catches are is bent from slamming it shut. straightened these out and it opens much easier now. maybe between these two fixes it'll stay for awhile.
so I sourced a plastic drop in bedliner, gonna purchase that this week. but, in order to install this, I will have to relocate the battery back to under the hood... ordered a battery tray and the associated hardware. ack. :-/
