    Pricing Question-muscle car

Well after 14 years of sitting in the garage, my dad has finally come to terms that he will never be able to finish the 1969 olds 442 .

So my question is does anyone know how you would go about finding a price for it?
Interior is gutted, all paint is off the body, with, and all the glass is out of it. Motor is a 350

Also anyone have knowledge on what price a 455 should be sold?

    Thanks for any help
well with vortex crash comes a new name formerly vw2002gti
some also may know me as "this thread approved" guy

A disassembled small block AT car, maybe 5k? Bodywork done but for paint? They range up to 30-40k all done and painted and PERFECT. But you could spend way more getting it there.

The 455 is from a olds tornado wanted to do a swap. So Steve you are saying $5000 for what i have described?

I'm hardly an expert, but I just grew up around my Dad's 55-56-57 Chevys, '64 Impala SS 409, Monte Carlo SS, etc... A decent 350/AT driver should be worth maybe 15K? Disassembled though... Even if your Dad did everything perfectly in the restoration so far, whoever buys it will prolly redo everything because they don't know for sure. Someone that is just going to turn it into a race car won't pay much, you gotta find someone who wants to restore it completely. The 455 is cool as hell, but wouldn't be 'numbers matching' and all that. So maybe as high as 8-9k as it sits. Who knows though? Check out Hemmings to see if there are any similar things for sale. I am way rusty at this stuff and my family is all a bunch of bowtie freaks. My Uncle has some really old Ford stuff, but now is into old Corvettes. good luck man, I hope your Dad is happy with what he is able to get for it.

Ya 455 he wants to sell separately but if an interested party in the car wanted both while still available he wouldn't care. Thanks for the advice on hemmings thats exactly what i need is websites to help in my research.
