Thread: Meet Sven. He's really gay, but I don't judge and love him regardless.

That is a great idea on the bike rack mount!
    Do it!

I went the lazy route and dropped the vert off at a buddy's shop. Timing belt, water pump and all the coolant hoses are getting replaced. Yay! But, more exciting, the M3 springs and E90 drop hats are getting put on too. Woot! Operation Lorit is complete.

The Rials are in the mail for the E21. But, I'm thinking they might end up on the E30 until the E21 is back on the road.

I also had to spend the extra money to have bilstein sport shocks put on. I can't wait to get this bucket back, just in time for the Crosshaul Cruise.

I had Vintage European replace my timing belt, water pump, a coolant hose refresh kit and throw on some M3 springs, E90 drophats and some Bilstein sports. And while Steven was getting his hands dirty, I played with my camera a bit.

    Some before photos:

And after installation of the old man gangster stance:

Steven did a great job with the car. Everything was replaced, with no hiccups or problems. He did it in exactly the time he said he would. And, he even cleaned up my engine bay.

But, enough of that guy. The car handles great! It still rides nice and comfortable and look much better now that it doesn't look like its ready to go out 4x4ing.

Thanks again Steven! And I hope you all enjoyed the photos. :woowoo:

It didnt lower it too much, the front end came down about 2" giving it a nice mild rake. Its still got some settling to do. And the bilsteins feel great! I'll keep the E30 comfortable and simple. The E21 will get the "less comfortable" treatment.

It absolutely does. I would like to have it be 1" lower all around and still ride the same. I'm already researching other options.

Here's photos for my "for sale" shoot. I'm now listing the car for $6000 and not a penny less. It might not sell at that price. But, it'll make the desicion on keeping it that much easier.

Good luck with(or without) the sale. Beautiful car.

  20. #120
Thanks! I hope I can sell it and find as nice of example as this vert, in a coupe. But, if it doesn't sell for asking, I'll just have to keep it and keep fancying it up.

Is this Sven's long lost bro?

  24. #124
Yes sir. I've been toying with the idea of getting those wheels. And I probably will. Since after my California bonding session with Sven, I think I'm going to have to keep him.
